Many ARM devices are equipped with CoreSight trace technology through ETM, PTM, or SWO. This session will help embedded software developers get the most of trace by exploring what you can do with trace data, e.g.: debugging multicore environments, isolating faults, identifying timing issues, performance monitoring, code profiling, code coverage, and many more. We will also discuss the difference between streaming trace and buffered trace and identify when it is appropriate to use one versus the other.
After this session, embedded software developers will have a better understanding of the efficacy of trace and how to leverage it to develop their designs more quickly by eradicating problems expeditiously.
This session is appropriate for all embedded software developers whose selected devices have trace (either ETM or PTM).
