The CCIX consortium was founded to solve the challenges of emerging acceleration applications such as machine learning, network processing, storage off-load, and analytics with a new standard that allows processors from different instruction set architectures to extend the benefits of cache coherent, peer processing to a number of acceleration devices including FPGAs, GPUs, network/storage adapters, intelligent networks and custom ASICs.
This presentation by members of the CCIX consortium will dive into key architectural elements ranging from the cache coherency protocol with a shared virtual memory model to how CCIX simplifies deployment by leveraging existing PCIe hardware and software infrastructure.
Attendees should understand the basics of CCIX coherent multichip architecture, the types of acceleration applications that benefit from CCIX and how they could potentially integrate and deploy CCIX technology within their SoC or end systems.
